Mexican Seasoned Ground
Italian Style Meatballs
OZO Mexican Ground
Monterey or Oaxaca cheese, grated
2 ½ cups
Flour tortillas or 12 oz tortilla chips for serving
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a skillet over medium heat, add the oil and OZO Plant-Based Mexican Ground and cook, stirring frequently to cook evenly and prevent sticking, about 6-7 minutes.
Once cooked, drain the fat from the skillet, or place the cooked meat over a paper towel to absorb the fat.
Place the cooked meat in an oven-proof dish, setting aside 2 tablespoons to garnish when ready to serve. Divide the meat and cheese into two smaller oven-proof dishes or one large oven-proof dish.
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the cooked meat and bake for about 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Do not overcook or it will have a chewy texture.
Serve warm with salsa and plenty of flour tortillas or tortilla chips.
