OZO® Green Bean Casserole

Green beans, trimmed and cut in half lengthwise 2 Lbs.
Oil 1 Tablespoon
White onion, diced ½ Item
Baby bella mushrooms, roughly chopped 8 oz.
Worcestershire sauce 1 Cup
Onion Powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
OZO® Plant-Based Ground 1 Package
French fried onions 6 oz.
Cream of mushroom soup 1 can (15 oz)
Plant-based Ground


Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Fill a 6 qt pot 3/4 of the way to the top with water, salt liberally and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare a large bowl of water and ice.
Step 4
Add the beans to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Then drain in a colander and immediately plunge the beans into the bowl of ice water. Drain and set aside.
Step 5
Add oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the onion and mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes until the onions start to soften and the mushrooms have lost most of their liquid.
Step 6
Add the Worcestershire, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste, and OZO Plant-Based Ground and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
Step 7
Add the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, mushroom and onion mixture, and half of the fried onions to a large bowl and mix well.
Step 8
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 (or equivalent) pan and top with the remaining fried onions. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 60 minutes.
Step 9
Serve and enjoy!
