Island Burgers

Ingredients

OZO™ Plant-Based Burgers 4 Each
Pepper Jack cheese (vegan or regular) 4 Slices
Mayonnaise ¼ Cup
Lime juice 1 Teaspoon
Chipotle power 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder ½ Teaspoon
Salt (to taste)
Burger buns 4 Each
Mango salsa (to taste), Recipe Below
Plant-based Burger Patties

Directions

Step 1
Mix together the mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle powder, and cumin powder. Add more chipotle and salt to your desired spice level.
Step 2
In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place one slice of cheese on each burger and allow to melt then remove from heat.
Step 3
To assemble the burger, spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then place the burger with cheese and top with mango salsa.
Step 4
Finish with top bun and serve immediately.

Ingredients

Pineapple, diced 1 Cup
Mango, diced 2 Cups
Red onion, chopped ½ Red Onion
Lime juice 2 Tablespoons
Green onions 2 Each
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Red wine vinegar 3 Tablespoons
Pinch of salt

Directions

Step 1
In a shallow bowl, cover the diced red onion with red wine vinegar and let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Add red onion and red wine vinegar mix to pineapple, mango, green onion, chili powder and salt in another bowl.
Step 3
Mix thoroughly and add salt as needed to taste.
