Breakfast Burgers

OZO® Plant-Based Burgers 4 Burgers
English muffins 4 Items
Unsalted butter, divided 6 Tablespoons
Thick cut bacon 4 Slices
American cheese 4 Slices
Large eggs 4 Eggs
Optional toppings: mayonnaise, hot sauce, honey
Plant-based Burger Patties


Step 1
Cut bacon strips in half and place in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Cook until bacon starts to release its fat and curl. Use tongs to turn each slice to cook on the other side. Keep flipping and cooking to desired crispiness. Place on a plate lined with paper towels and set aside.
Step 2
Heat a large griddle or cast-iron skillet to medium.
Step 3
Butter each half of the English muffins and toast on griddle, buttered side down, until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Flip and toast on other side, about 3 minutes. Place on a plate and set aside.
Step 4
Add the burger patties to the pan. Cook until browned on one side, about 2 minutes. Flip and top each patty with a slice of cheese and cook until cheese starts to melt and internal temperature is 165°F, about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Heat remaining 4 tablespoons butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Carefully crack and pour an egg into the side of the skillet. Repeat with the other 3 eggs. (Note: if you prefer, you can cook 1 egg at a time in a small nonstick skillet with a tablespoon of butter for each egg.)
Step 6
Let the eggs cook, gently tilting the pan occasionally to redistribute the butter, until the edges are crisp and golden and the yolk is cooked as desired, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer the cooked eggs to a plate.
Step 7
To serve, top each bottom half of a toasted muffin with a cooked patty, two pieces of bacon, then a fried egg. Drizzle with hot sauce, honey, mayonnaise, or any desired condiment. Top with the other half of the muffin and serve!
